The Bald Cypress is best acclimated to wet soil conditions and full sunlight. A mature Bald Cypress can grow to 60-70 feet tall at 1.5-2 feet per year. The foliage is a medium green color and has a fern-like soft texture. In the fall, the foliage turns a dark, rusty red and can live for 100+ years under the right conditions.
