The Cedar Elm is a great Texas native, growing best in full sunlight and wet soil areas. Cedar Elm trees mature to a height of 40-50 feet, growing about 1.5-2.5 feet per year. Its leaves are small and deep green until fall, when they will turn yellow before falling.
